Michael LeMay is an accomplished photographer with a diverse background in visual storytelling. His photography journey commenced during his tenure in the U.S. Navy, where he served as an Intelligence Photojournalist, capturing images of Soviet vessels with specialized equipment. This experience ignited his passion for capturing moments and laid the groundwork for his future in photography.

Over the years, Michael honed his skills in studio and fast-action photography, alongside mastering film processing and printing. Under the guidance of Art Simmons, a renowned wedding photographer in Bermuda, he furthered his expertise in wedding photography, emphasizing the importance of both technical skill and client relationships.

As the founder of LeMay Imagery Multimedia, Michael integrates his photography with other creative pursuits, including art, literature, and publishing. His mission is to offer comprehensive creative solutions while preserving African American family legacies through insightful content. With a diverse skill set ranging from AI-enhanced game character design to book services and web design, Michael is committed to fostering creativity and growth in every project.

With a background in information technology, particularly in systems infrastructure virtualization, Michael LeMay was well-prepared for his exploration of transforming words into imagery using text-to-image Generative AI technology. His passion lies in illustrating diverse portrayals of Ancient Nubian Women, highlighting their cultural significance.

Raised in Chicago, LeMay drew inspiration from the vibrant energy of Michigan Avenue, known as the Magnificent Mile. Immersed in this environment, he spent countless days at the Art Institute of Chicago and pursued freelance work as a fashion illustrator. Influenced by figures like Stan Lee (REX), Craig Perry (WAK), and Kevin Williams, he honed his skills, particularly in understanding human anatomy, crucial for his work as a fashion and superhero illustrator.

LeMay's early exposure to fine arts, fostered by his mother who introduced him to luminaries like Raphael, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Gordon Parks, James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, and Dubois, fueled his artistic passion. Serving in the United States Navy allowed LeMay to delve into photography further. Following an honorable discharge, he focused on flourishing in the arts, combining his studies with freelance wedding photography.

His journey expanded into psychology, writing, and independent publishing, culminating in the establishment of a multimedia conglomerate. Dedicated to disseminating thought-provoking content on "Avoiding Divorce for Black Men" across various mediums, including print, electronic, and auditory platforms.

LeMay aspires to serve as a catalyst for restoring families and combating the detrimental effects of divorce, striving to counteract the divisive practices prevalent in African American families.
